On June 19th of this year, a group of 3 Fleer Three Stooges checklist cards from 1959, each with individual PSA gradings of 9 (mint), brought an astonishing top bid of $75,667 on eBay. On another eBay auction ending the same day a single PSA-8 graded Three Stooges checklist card went for a very respectable $12,443. The Sport Americana Price Guide to the Non-Sports Cards 1930-1960 by Christopher Benjamin informs us that the Three Stooges checklists were only available in the gum packs and could not be purchased or ordered separately. Also that they only appeared on the final print run of the cards and only as a last minute decision due to a problem with original dies on the three cards.
